Dr. Varaidzo (Vee) Kativhu is a British-Zimbabwean education activist, author, and global speaker, widely recognised for her work in education access, youth empowerment, and gender equality.

She is the Founder and Director of Empowered By Vee (EBV), a non-profit organisation committed to widening access to higher education for underrepresented students in the UK and beyond. Vee currently holds advisory roles with the UN Youth Office, UNICEF, the Global Partnership for Education, and The World's Largest Lesson.

A proud graduate of both Oxford and Harvard, Dr. Vee is now pursuing a PhD in Education Leadership at Claremont Graduate University in California. Her goal is to use research and lived experience to address global challenges in girls’ education and equitable access to learning.

Her expertise in advocacy has led her to speak on global stages for renowned education organisations such as the Yidan Prize, Teach For All’s Global Forum, UNESCO, and the United Nations General Assembly. In 2024, she became the youngest person to receive an honorary doctorate from the University of Bradford. She has also been recognised as a BBC 100 Women Honoree and named one of British Vogue’s Forces for Change alongside Michelle Obama.
